Welcome to the 3rd page of E-Cigs Academy tips, tricks and money saving ideas for e cig cartridges. The ideas that follow are some of the most popular suggestions made by members of the ECF, which with nearly 9,000 members, is the world's largest electronic cigarette forum.

Refilling cartridges rather than discarding them after one use is a great money saving tip. However, reusing them means you could have a dozen or more cartridges in use at once, each containing a different flavour eliquid! How do you know which is which? You label them!

A label maker if you have one works well for identifying longer Penstyle cartridges, however, the quickest and easiest cartridge labelling method is a colour coding system.
Simply assign a colour to each flavour eliquid and use a dab of nail varnish, permanent marker pen or a sticker in that colour to mark your cartridge. Then at a glance, you'll know that each cart with a red mark is vanilla, green is mint, pink is cherry etc.

If you would prefer not to deface your cartridges, try keeping them in a pillbox of the type that has 7 or 14 separate compartments to contain a week or two's worth of pills. A box that once held screws, nails or hooks in different sizes will have lots of handy little compartments of the right size too.
And finally, a fishing tackle or tool box will probably be large enough to contain cartridges and all the rest of your e cigarette paraphernalia in one go!

What are syringes used for? Well, syringes with needles are useful for dispersing eliquid evenly along the entire length of e cig cartridge fillers, the stuffing or wadding found in the middle of the cartridge. They also come in handy for extracting eliquid from a half full bottle.
Syringes supplied in inkjet refill kits are ideal for topping up or refilling cartridges because the needles are wide-gauge and the needle tips blunt. Blunt or rounded needles = less chance of sticking your finger!
Another use for a syringe is extracting eliquid from used e cig cartridges. A needleless syringe of the type used to give medicine to children or pets works well.
If you need to purchase a syringe remember that the lower the needle number, the wider the gauge, and easier it will be to draw up viscous eliquid. And if you can't buy one with a rounded tip, try blunting a sharp needle with a file for safety.
Finally, for safety's sake, please keep syringes and any eliquid containing nicotine in a locked box on a high shelf, completely out of the reach of children and pets.

Almost everyone with an e cigarette has had a request similar to this. If you haven't yet, it's only a matter of time! And although some of us are more than happy to briefly share our e-cig with friends, family and even strangers on the odd occasion, not all of us are quite so keen on any nasty germs they may donate in return.
If you don't like to say no, the easiest solution is to keep a few clean, empty e cig cartridges with you. Then when someone wants to give your e cigarette a try, simply drip some eliquid directly onto the atomiser, pop on the empty cartridge and hand it over with a smile! Another option is to carry anti-bacterial or alcohol wipes and give your cartridge a wipe after someone else has used it.
